Abstract

Abstract: The objective is to analyze the prospects for career paths and remuneration teaching service to current public policies for basic education, to discuss critically about the marketing character of bond that has been established between training, teacher’s valuation and quality education. Initially, it presents the legal frameworks which provide and guarantee the existence of career paths and remuneration teaching service as a right of teachers. As a result, there is the policies to ensure the legal system. Finally, weave some considerations about referrals and prospects of career paths, the remuneration teaching service and the quality of education through the ideas proposed in the document issued by the Secretariat of Strategic Affairs, entitled Homeland Educator: the qualification of basic education as work of nation-building (BRAZIL, 2015). The results shows the existence of a context of economic and political crisis in which certain developments in national training political and teacher’s valuation are being shaken by retrograde concepts that diverge from the current National Education Plan (PNE) - 2014-2024.
