Abstract

The article will argue that the teaching practice, to accept and encourage laugh in the classroom, you can create an environment conducive to teaching and learning. We searched several authors who approach the subject and, through the concepts of process, it is possible to defend the thesis that laugh is a strong ally of teachers in the classroom. Within its limitations issue, the paper addresses the laugh and their reactions — such as joy, happiness and pleasure — to argue that when there is space for these reactions at school, cognition is executed with greater ease. The study will be presented in three stages. In the first part, we reflect on the correlation of laughter and emotions, highlighting the emotional laughter. In the second part we try to set the laughter from the perspective of several renowned authors as well as reflect on their physiological effect. To complete the survey, aimed to highlight the importance of laughter in the classroom.
