Abstract

This study proposes a theoretical debate on the treatment of sexuality in the institutional environment-school. The issue of sexuality is treated seeking emphasis on psychosocial dynamics of adolescence within the school pointing to the hegemonic and dominant sexual models in society today. The central objective is to characterize the adolescence and the contradictions of institutional culture in Brazil, pointing out alternatives to overcome the sexual models present sex education among family, school and society. As a point of emphasis, addresses the importance of teacher training in sexual education an emancipatory perspective.
