Abstract

Our intention with this paper is to show the close relationship between social movements, the alternation of Pedagogy and education field. Think about the field as a place of strength, work, struggle for land and housing is essential in this proposal. On the other hand, we see the development of research on rural education in Brazil the following difficulties: impassable roads, schools in the field with poor working conditions, lack of Internet access, problems of state and municipal departments of education in public policy organization effective for rural education, runoff from agricultural production, among many other factors. We found that a considerable proportion of the population lives, works and endures in rural areas, although the quantity and quality of research on this topic are still insufficient. The reality of family farming in Brazil and its relation to the settlements, camps and maroon, for example, needs studies and theoretical insights. According to the social movements, there is an urgent defense of family farming linked to agro-ecology issues, food security, seed Creole, group work, the struggle for land, production and disposal of goods, besides the presence of active families in the consolidation of rural schools and in them the appreciation of cultural traditions, very present in everyday subjects that deal with land.
