Abstract

In the current paper, the author analyze the incidence of the virtual word provided by internet in youngsters from High school, in Araguaína city, Tocantins. From quantitative results, obtained through closing questionnaires about these subjects’ routine related to internet, it was carried out a qualitative analysis of the possible repercussion of this interaction with the cyberspace regarding to investment in school culture. Taking as theoretical framework education, psychosocial and philosophical perspectives, the author concluded that high school has already received in its class students with cognitive formation different from the ones of earlier decades, which points out the need of changing the traditional way of teacher works inside classroom.
