Abstract

This study has the objective to understand the process of evaluation in the discipline of Physical Education in the state schools of the city of Vacaria-RS. Like methodical strategies it was used the semi-structured interview. It was identified that the teachers use the qualitative evaluation ruled in the attitude criterion, using like instruments the lists of observation and the auto-evaluation. It is possible to end that the evaluation is aimed for the attitude aspects with subjective characteristic, without clear criterion, being carried out by the teachers of free and autonomous form, being related as standards of the schools, which do not explain in the satisfactory  way the process of evaluation in the above-mentioned discipline.
