Abstract

The study on canvas part of an empirical research supported by a brief literature review , with the aim to discuss the violence suffered by teachers in basic education or as a result of the performance of their work activities , focusing on the analysis of the statements taken as verbal aggression , understanding that this discourse of aggression mobilizes an understanding about teaching that deserves to be portrayed . To take account of this questioning , the text bolsters in an empirical study that examined 20 reports on verbal aggression suffered by the teacher, aired in two weekly newspapers of national circulation , between the years 2001 and 2011 , using as support the Analysis of speech materialistic stream or the French line. In conclusion it is considered that there are aspects of undeniable violence in the reports transmitted by the articles analyzed . However , their analysis can contribute to erect another point of view in relation to verbal violence against the teacher . She can outsource a significant discursive game that passes through questioning ( explicit or implicit ) of the very condition of the school as an institution of discursive production .
