Abstract

This article aims to show the results of the search Education, Memory and Sexuality: Narratives of Teachers and Health Professionals about Sexual Education and Teacher Training, developed by Eliane Maria da Silva, in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Education from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul, University of Paranaíba Unit, in 2013. In order to understand how health and education professionals conceive the theme of sexuality we present and describe the training course in sexual education of these professionals residents of eight (08) counties in Mato Grosso do Sul, and as a methodological procedure for data collection we have the autobiographical narratives, also participants of Health and Prevention Project in Schools/SPE in Mato Grosso do Sul, during the Workshop: Constructing Dialogue on Healthy Sexuality in the Time of AIDS/SIDA, held in mid-2012. Results evidenced that the moment for self-reflection, enabled professionals to give another meaning to the imagery on the area of sexuality in the school context and, above it all, to understand their life and training histories.
