Abstract

This article reflects upon the importance of the pedagogical dimension in teachers education for those who will work in universities. This dimension has been often neglected by post-graduation courses in our country. Starting a teaching career in a university it is necessary to be knowledgeable in the field of interest and because of the postgraduate course attended by the university teacher we see some pedagogical conflicts for the university teacher. The lecturer endures this situation in silence but it deeply affects the relationship between the university lecturer, the students and the institution. As we are discussing this problem we try to situate the issue the origins of post-graduation in Brazil the lack of pedagogical development of most of the educators, especially those who are bachelors. The
university as the locus of the teaching development can not exempt itself from facing this question, and supports and promotes to overcome problems that affects university lecturers and students because the pedagogical relations.
