University incubator, Entrepreneurship, Technology transferAbstract
This article sought to identify the barriers and facilitators university incubators face in collaborative processes. This is an integrative literature review of the last three years (2021-2023) using the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and SAGE Journals databases. After screening and eligibility checks, thirteen studies met the inclusion criteria. The articles reviewed included studies carried out on the American, European, Asian and African continents. The main factors related to high efficiency indicate entrepreneurial training in universities, teaching and university cultures, industrial/business culture and funding vehicles. It is clear that cultural, institutional and organizational differences are barriers to more successful performance. Training programs can improve understanding of values and motivations and develop competencies for research, development and innovation.
