Abstract

Abstract: The work Identity and difference organized and translated by Tomaz Tadeu da Silva builds up an outlook of the policy of Identity of the Cultural Studies in the called post-modern scenery. The three essays presented in the book by  Kathyn Woodward, Stuart Hall and Tomaz Tadeu da Silva explore both concepts taking in account the didactic perspective in which the main elements the identity and subjectivity are formed. Questioning the identity formation, the authors search for diagnosing some hypothesis on what could take the subjects to fill some positions which they are  invited to. The importance of the process of discursive production and social difference is focused in order to compose a difference pedagogy suitable for contemporary times.
