About the Journal

The International Journal of Environmental Resilience Research and Science - IJERRS Electronic ISSN  2675-3456 is the result of the International Climate Resilience Research Network - RIPERC (International Climate Resilience Research Network), through the Research and Extension Teaching Center for Protection and Disaster - CEPED Unioeste.

The International Climate Resilience Research Network - RIPERC has the membership of 400 researchers from more than 200 institutions in 21 countries: Brazil, United Kingdom, Paraguay, Argentina, Guatemala, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Cuba, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, United States, Angola, Mozambique, New Zealand and Ghana. And RIPEDRC is present in 22 Brazilian states: Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Tocantins, Amazonas, Rondônia, Roraima, Amapá, Pará, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte and the Federal District.

IJERRS lança Edição Especial 2026 sobre Sociobiodiversidade e Mudanças Climáticas

A International Journal of Environmental Resilience Research and Science (IJERRS) – ISSN 2675-3456 abriu chamada para submissão de trabalhos da Edição Especial 2026 – v. 8, n. 2, intitulada “Sociobiodiversidade e os efeitos das mudanças climáticas na agricultura, espécies nativas e comunidades”. A proposta da edição é reunir pesquisas e experiências interdisciplinares voltadas aos desafios socioambientais contemporâneos, promovendo debates sobre sustentabilidade, resiliência climática, conservação da biodiversidade, agricultura sustentável, governança ambiental e justiça climática. As submissões estarão abertas a partir de maio de 2026, com prazo final em 30 de setembro de 2026.

This journal was created from the partnership between the University of York (UY-UK) and the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste), with support from the University of Leeds (UK) as a result of the UK-Brazil Workshop on Climate Resilient Development Financing. It has the backing of the Center for Teaching, Research, and Extension in Protection and Disasters (CEPED-Unioeste), which aims to be a platform for disseminating academic research that fosters fruitful and engaging discussions among different institutions, focusing on transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary discussions regarding the necessary conditions to strengthen participatory and inclusive environmental citizenship, reaching all social segments in Latin America and the global community, bringing forth principles of equality, peace, life, and a hopeful future.
